Brick West Brewing Co. Production
The expansion of Brick West Brewing Co. marks a pivotal step in the company’s growth, extending production well beyond the regional map. The new 18,000-square-foot facility dramatically increases brewing capacity and introduces a canning and packaging line, along with offices and storage. At the owners’ request, the building also incorporates a taproom — a place for events, casual afternoons on the patio, and views of airplanes departing Spokane International Airport.
What might have been a simple metal warehouse was reimagined as a visible brand statement and beacon of production. An angled entry canopy recalls the form of hop trellises, rooting the building in the culture of beer-making. A translucent wall reveals the brewing vessels within, while the taproom becomes a bold, brand-red insertion that anchors the experience. Together, these moves transform an industrial facility into both a place of craft and a landmark for a continually expanding company.
