Lumen High School
Located in downtown Spokane, Lumen High School is a charter school dedicated to serving teen parents by providing a pathway to complete their diplomas while raising healthy children. At its core is an integrated early learning center, allowing students to grow both as parents and as scholars.
The school empowers two generations at once, pairing rigorous academics with childcare and wraparound support tailored to the unique needs of teen parents in Spokane County. Trek Architecture was honored to design the school’s home — transforming a long-neglected downtown space into a bright and welcoming environment. Today, Lumen stands as a beacon of hope and possibility, embodying the mission it serves.
